Looking around for a lunch time meat feast and came across this place. All the reviews said it was amazing so had to give it a tryI'm made up I did as the meals were amazing, the jerk chicken and rice and peas with steamed veg was amazing , one of the best jerk places I've tried . The jerk was spicy but not too hot...believe. went back another day and it was even spicier, just what I was after. The oxtail with rice and peas was amazing as well. The meat fell off the bone and was so soft and tender wow.The coleslaw was special. So creamy and Morish.Had a lamb pattie as well and it was just as good. Lovely herby flavours coming thru and a kick of spice. With the pastry soft and melts in your mouth. Will be back no doubt .

I stumbled on this delightful treasure by chance. I'm vegan and my friend is a meat eater. I ordered a vegan dish and my friend had chicken. The meal.was stupendous the service was quick and very friendly. The owner chatted with us the other customers were all so happy to get their meal they chatted. It was fantastic. The chicken and curry goat looked and smelled so delicious I was tempted to give up my veganism. Undoubtedly the best Caribbean eatery in Manchester providing authentic Caribbean food with the British service ( quick and friendly) Oh and can I just mention the dumplins and the Sorrel. Eat and Sweet ditch the takeaway get a resteraunt. I would love at least vegan dish daily that is also authentically Caribbean even if its soup this would be a game changer as more and more people don't eat meat. Ackee and chick pea or callaloo on its own or with ackee . CHICK Pea curry oyster fried mushrooms .....maybe on particular day of the week.

I’ve just placed an order from the place via Uber Eats. I was hesitant to try it at first as I’ve never from here before but I must say the food is great. Size is a big food with fresh and taster and it’s definitely cooked Jamaican style just I like it Will definitely order from here again. The only thing that I would say is a little bit disappointing. Is that when you ordering online the veg and anny extras are add on and could make your meal be quite expensive adding all these extra items on when you’re online.
